God enforces His ultimate plans in His creation and in His loving care.
God, in the power of His Word, completed all His creation from non-existence in six days and made everything very good.
1. In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth (Genesis 1: 1).
2. By faith we understand that this universe was created by the Word of God, and that these visible objects did not originate from any direct object (Hebrews 11: 3).
3. God looked at all his creation and saw that everything was fine. Night and day came to an end. The sixth day ends (Genesis 1:31).
In our previous lesson we discussed God's ultimate plan. As we have seen, God has planned everything. We tried to explain by showing how we also plan before doing anything in the corner. As we have seen in Figure 6.1, Mukul is making a plan for his house. Even though there was no house in the corner before, his plan was completed. Now, in Figure 7.1, we will explain how Mukul devised his plan.
God enforces His ultimate plans in creation
In the first picture, we see that Mukul is building the house according to his plan or design, it is called creation. In the second picture we see that he is taking care of his house, after finishing the house building work. This is called supervision. In the rest of this lesson and in the next lesson we will discuss creation. After that, in the next lessons we will discuss the act of supervision.
When ‘Question and Answer’ says, “God completed all His creation in six days by the power of His Word from non-existence”, it seems very strange. God's creation and man's house-building are similar. We must not interpret it that way. Because there are two big differences between the two.
(1) When a person forms something - or "creates" something - he uses whatever material is available to him. He uses wood, brick, cement etc. But when God created the world, he did not use any of the existing elements. Because "all these visible things did not originate from any direct object" (Hebrews 11: 3). Because God's "word is the creation of the universe, and by His command is its state" (Ps. 33: 9). This is what we call "creation from nothing".
(2) Another thing, we see that construction - or the work of making - is a time-consuming process. Yet, to the Lord, "one day is equal to a thousand years, and a thousand years are equal to one day" (2 Peter 3: 8). So, in the light of Bible authority, we simply believe that God created the universe in six days. We must not waver in the various theories of current science.
Extremely powerful modern scientific theory is the complete opposite of the ‘question and answer’ teaching. According to the theory of evolution, the world we see today is the result of very slow and steady progress. Those who believe that God created the world in just six short days are generally considered fools. But the Bible reminds us, "By faith we know that this world was created by the word of God" (Hebrews 11: 3). If we try to understand, how the world came, as we see it today, it is natural that, according to our human knowledge, we will follow the way of unbelieving science. We don't see any tree grow in one day. We do not see humans being created in their youth (as was the case with Eve and Adam). And so, as trees take time to grow and people gradually appear in their youth, it becomes difficult for us to imagine that such an event could happen suddenly. But when we reason in this way, we actually do: we mistakenly think that God was subject to limitations in creation, which we experience ourselves. But there is no reason to think so. If we think more accurately (that is, biblically), we will realize that time is not an object that God was present "at that time" when He began the work of creation. Time has no independent existence. There is only one God, who is not created but exists. And time is also an object of creation. When God began to create, time was not “there”.Universe and time
We can best explain this with a question: How much time did God spend creating the universe? The answer is, God did not spend time creating space. He created space from zero. Again, when we ask, how much time did God has spend for created our time system (in other words, the solar system because it measures our time). The only answer to the question is: There is no time at all, and according to everything else, He created time out of nothing, so we can only believe (Hebrews 11: 3) that God spoke and it was done. He commanded, and it was done. Let us believe that this marvelous work of creation was accomplished in such a heavenly power that it took only six days. We find this information in the first chapter of Genesis. God has done "short-lived" deeds - in other words, He is God and He can fulfill all His holy will. There is no confuse feeling in the choice here or that choice was clear. The primary thought of all unbelieving sciences: "Everything will continue as it was from the beginning of creation" (2 Peter 3: 4). In other words, the unbelieving scientist observes how things are happening now, and then he decides, that's how things happen. But the fundamental thought of the Christian faith is that the Bible tells us the truth about what is not happening now. For example, we think of the miracles of Christ. Jesus made wine in the instantaneous act of his heavenly power at the wedding house in Cana and - prepared the finest wine. The quality of the wine that can be made in the normal way in a hundred years is exactly the same. We believe that this is a sign of God's true power in creation. If the Lord can instantly produce wine, why should we not believe that He created the world in six days?
Good creation
Finally, we note that the Q&A teaches that everything in God's creation was "good." We read in the Bible (Genesis 1:12, 18, 25, etc.), "these are all good." This statement means that it is not just a simple proof, its importance is infinite, it means that there is no inherent evil in the nature of matter, there is evil in the moral perversion of man who abuses them. Take wine, for example. Wine has been created. Jesus himself made the wine. so the Bible declares it to be 'good.' The Scriptures say, just as "wine is for the pleasing of the heart," "oil for the radiance of the face, and food for the health and strength of the body" (Ps. 104: 15). Intoxication is called sin in the Bible. But the Bible does not say that the wine must be blamed for this sin. No, the reason is entirely human sin nature. What enters the sinner's mouth cannot defile him. What comes out of the heart defiles (Mark 7:15).
"Everything God has created is good and nothing is inedible if we accept it with gratitude" (1 Timothy 4: 4). This teaching is ultimately important, because throughout the history of the church, there has been a tendency for man to identify any external cause as the cause of sin. So, since there is no other choice, the material things of the world have been blamed. When a material thing is constantly abused, we are tempted to blame the object without blaming the person who uses it. Then it is easy to say, "It does not eat, it does not ferry, it does not touch, ... all these restrictions are the product of man-made doctrines and instructions" (Colossians 2: 21-22). Once we accept this fundamental delusion (the position of evil in material matters), it will be the beginning of a final harmful captivity. One thing after another becomes “forbidden,” and more uncertainty enters the heart, so that “nothing from the outside can defile a man” (Mark 6:15). Only this wonderful doctrine of divine creation can save us from this danger.
