The extreme plan of God is his eternal purpose, according to his willingness, by which all, which is, for all his own glory, have already done.
1. God chose us before the world was made. God chose us in love to be his holy people....God had already planned for us to be his people, because that is what God wanted... (Ephisian 1: 4, 11).
The Bible says, "God does all the accordance with the plan and planning" (Ephisian 1:11). In another words, we are seeing something that happens in the world, is not suddenly or accidental. There is nothing to happen because of it. There is a reason behind everything. And all the things extreme reason are, behind him is the great plan of God. It has been said in the Scripture, "God made all things. And everything continue through God and for God. To God be the glory forever" (Romans 11:36). Whatever happens, everything behind have God's planning, sometimes we can not understand that. But the Bible says, The Lord says, "I told you about the things that will happen in the end.... when I plan something that things happens. I do the things I want to do" (Isaiah 46:10). In the case of the people, Job says, "Man's life is limited. God, you decide how long a man lives. You set those limits for a man and nothing can change them" (14: 5). "The Lord has a plan for everything. And in the Lord's plan, evil people will be destroyed" (Proverbs 16: 4).
One flawed analogy
To illustrate this fact, let us draw a human parallel picture with God's plan (Figure 6.1).
Here we see our friend Mukul making a design for his house. Even before the foundation is laid, it has decided how that will work. When the real time comes to build the house, the workers involved in this work have to work according to this design. Everything will go according to this "plan". This is not only a weak human comparison with God's great plan, but it also explains the real parallel. Just as Mukul plans everything for his home, so everything that happens in the world happens according to God's plan. Whatever happens, he has predetermined everything.
Having said that, we need to mention a few things. As we will see, there is a difference between God's plan and Human plan.
(1) One of these is God's eternal plan. In other words, if we are asked, when did God make this plan? Then the answer would be: God's plan has always been there! His plan is eternal! There is a difference with human planning. First, there is a time when we do not have a well-planned plan. After that, we start working on the best plan. In the end, we formulate a suitable plan. But this is not the case with God. Because "the plan of the Lord God is everlasting, his purpose enduring forever and ever" (Psalm 33:11).
Like us, God does not compose every day plan. He does not even change his plan. He is infinite, eternal, unchangeable. So his purpose - His plan - always his in thought, and never changed, and will not change ever. That is why the question says, "the eternal purpose of God" according to his will. We usually try to others with the opinion of the plan. We want to get their advice more than those who are knowledgeable more than us. But God's no need that. He already knows everything. There is no more wisdom than God. There is nothing that he did not see before. So, according to the other's advice, God did not compose his plans. He just discussed with himself for the purpose of making his plan. "God's riches are very great! God wisdom and knowledge have no end! No person can explain the things God decides. No person can understand God's ways. Who knows the mind of the Lord? Who is able to give God advice"? (Romans 11: 33-34).
(2) Another difference between God's and man's plan is that God's plan is ultimate. That is, nothing happens outside of God's plan. When a person makes a plan for a house, he has a control over the events (by that plan). This plan does not contain all the details, such as how many nails will be used to build that house. How long it will take to build that house is not specified. But everything is ultimately determined in God's plan. The plan even includes two kinds of events, which the people of the world often think are out of God's control.
(A) This includes what we call "accidental" or "accidental events". When people play dice or cards, they imagine that no one knows how things will turn out. They think they have a chance to win. But the Bible says, “People throw lots to make decisions, But the decisions always come from God” (Proverbs 16:33). In the book of Kings (2 Kings 22) we read the story of King Ahab, who took the opportunity to go to war despite the Lord's warning. We read of another Syrian soldier (verse 34) who shot an arrow aimlessly into the sky without aiming at any particular target, but that arrow killed the king. Everything is determined by God. There is no word for "accident" in God's plan. There is nothing that can surprise God or turn his plan upside down.
(B) But what about human “free will”? Do we have to believe that whatever man likes, good or bad, is predetermined by God? Yes, the Scriptures teach us that. Because the Bible says that whatever the believer or unbeliever decides, whatever man decides, it is already planned by the eternal God. For example, remember what the Bible says about the killers of the Lord Jesus: “Jesus was delivered to you according to God's own will and plan, and you crucified him with the Gentiles (Acts 2:23). So even though the wicked rebelled against God, they did what God planned. They may not think that they are thwarting God's plan, but they are actually fulfilling God's plan. If this is true in the case of unbelievers, then how true it is in the case of believers! Because “we are his creation, created to do good works in union with Christ Jesus. God has prepared us for this kind of righteousness ”(Ephesians 2:10). Even the most important choice that people can make - the choice to believe in Christ - that is God's predestination. When Paul preached, he told, "as many as were destined for everlasting life" they believed (Acts 13:48). So we say this again: Nothing is out of God's plan. His plan is extreme. Everything happened according to his plan.
(3) For what reason did God make this perfect and comprehensive plan? The answer to the question says, "For his own glory!" Does not mean that God glorifies himself more than before. (Remember, there is no one before or after God.) The simple answer is, what God does. He doesn't show us any reason to explain. God is the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end, from whom, by whom and for whom all things are made. So God's own pleasure, honor and praise may be the only reason for His plan. "Our Lord and God! You are worthy to receive glory and honor and power. You made all things. Everything existed and was made because you wanted it”(Revelation 4:11). If a person has to work for self-satisfaction and self-esteem, we will consider him to be unbearably arrogant. But this work is right for God, because the same reason that is wrong with man is right with God. This is wrong with man, because he is denying the existence of what he is (animal only). If God does not do that, He also denies His existence (because He is the only true God, and He is far more qualified than everything that exists around Him). God cannot deny himself. He is the highest, so he will always work for his own satisfaction and, above all, seek his own glory.
A warning against wrong decisions
Lastly, we will make sure that we do not make the wrong decision by saying, "God has determined everything that happens." (1) God is the creator of sin - for a reason, this is not true. It is very difficult to realize. Because once we say that God has planned everything, we cannot exclude sin from it. God also planned sin, and if God planned sin, it would almost show that God is also the creator of sin. But the Bible tells us that God is not the creator of sin. God created angels and humans. When God first created them, they were good. Either way hack (how, we don't know) sin awoke in all these creatures. Satan is the real creator of sin. It must have been included in God's plan, but God is the creator of sin - that's not true.
(2) Another thing is that we cannot say that man has been treated as a "common value or pawn" for playing dice. It is true that God has already determined the fate of all people. According to God's will, some people are saved. Judas says that the gift of some people is predetermined (vs. 5), but Paul says, "God chose us not to be punished for wrath, but to be saved through the virtue of our Lord Jesus Christ." (1 Thessalonians 5: 9) But the Bible clearly teaches us that those who are destroyed in the end do not really want to be saved, they are destroyed by their own choice, because God's ultimate plan does not weaken or destroy human responsibility.
