What rules has God given us in order to glorify and enjoy our God?

The word of God, which is part of the Old and New Testaments, is the only law that leads us to glorify and enjoy our God.

 1. The entire Scriptures are inspired by God and useful for teaching.  It shows all faults, just as it is possible to lead people to the right path by correcting mistakes (2 Timothy 3:16).

2, I testify to each and every one of those who hear the prophetic words of this book: If anyone does anything else with it, God will afflict him with all the wounds mentioned in this book.  If anyone takes anything away from this scripture, God will deprive him of the tree of life and the holy city described in this scripture (Revelation 22: 18-19).

Strange as it may seem, Jesus once said that God kept this mystery hidden from the wise and prudent and revealed it to the simple man according to the will of the child (Luke 10:21).  In other words, some of the most intelligent and educated people lack real knowledge.  And some simple people who are not well educated are entitled to real knowledge.  This is because man himself cannot come to the knowledge of truth.  The more a person learns by his own efforts (by the help of his own mind - not by the available energy), the more he faces the unknown.  Just as a balloon inflates and spreads everywhere, so too does man's teaching expose him to the eternal mystery of God's wonderful works.  For example, humans have invented new and more powerful telescopes to study the mysteries of the constellations.  But what has been the result?  As a result of this study, they now stand in front of millions of new stars.  This is why scientific theory is constantly changing.  Because the more people discover, the more they discover that there is more that they do not know.  Thus, because people do not know everything, they eventually lose interest and realize that they cannot really know anything.

 Two types of expression

Now the reason is: God did not create man in such a way that he would know everything (or, whatever) in his own power.  Only God knows everything.  And so, from the beginning, only God can give man a definite knowledge of everything.  From the beginning, this knowledge came to man in two ways: (1) (First, what we call natural revelation, God revealed Himself in that way.  "His [God's] invisible qualities, that is, his eternal power and divinity, have been manifested in his various works since the creation of the world" (Romans 1:20). (2)  God even spoke to Adam in the garden of paradise. With his work Adam got God's word. Adam, by studying his nature, learned a lot, but he did not know everything. For example, what did not happen then, he did not know.  In order to be sure of such a "simple" thing in terms of fruit-eating, it was necessary for him to explain "natural facts" in the light of God's word.

When Adam sinned against God, he rejected God's Word.  He felt as if there was no need for God to know which one was right.  Instead, he decided to use the so-called "scientific method" (that is, the method of reaching a conclusion by experiment) to discover the truth.  From then until today, Adam and all his descendants (except those who were saved through Jesus Christ) have been confused in the dark.  This is not because there was any "darkness" in God's revelation.  God's "light" is shining brightly in all of God's creation. So if the original man (sinless Adam) could not understand God's word without God's word, then how true it is for us not to understand it! How can man be saved from sin?  The revelation of God in nature is enough to show, not the excuse of man, that nature has shown them the glory of the true God so that they can worship and serve Him, but only the Bible can teach man what to believe (from sin to be free) and what to do (once again to serve God).

The meaning of the word ‘included’

But when the 'Q&A' says, "The Old and New Testaments included... the Word of God", what does it mean?  we need to be clear about the error in which this term (included) is used. From these words we must understand that the words we find in the Bible are from God.

Ever since 'Question and Answer' was written, clever people have tried to use this same word in a different sense, the way Q&A has not been used.  (1) The first (Figure 2.1) is called liberalism (or "older modern doctrine") (Liberalism). Those who hold this doctrine believe that some parts of the Bible are the Word of God (-), but other parts are human words (  They believe that they can decide for themselves which part is true and which part is false. (2) The second (Figure 2.2) is called Neo-Orthodoxy (or, “  Neo-modernism ").  This view is seen in many Protestant communities today.  It is sometimes called "Barthianism" (named after the eminent theologian Carl Barth). Those who believe in this view say that the whole Bible is a delusional human word. But they say that when people use these human words (-----  ) By reading, God somehow uses these words so that through words they get the true word of God (-) (in their own minds). Any part of the Bible can be a way by which the word of God comes to man,  But it may be that one part of the Bible "speaks" to one man, and the other part "speaks" to another. (3) The third (Figure 2.3) is the Reformed view. This is the view of the historical Christian faith.  Those who hold this view believe that the whole Bible (every word) is divine truth, that there is no part of it that is not inspired by God, and that even when an unbeliever reads the Bible, all its words are divine.  That is to say, the Bible is the Word of God (-).

 Three important features

If the Bible is God's Word, the only law that can glorify him and lead him to everlasting life, three more things can be said.  (1) First, we can say that the Bible is infallible.  This means that everything the Bible says is true.  This does not mean that you can take every biblical commentary out of context.  For example, Psalm 53: 1 says, "... there is no God!" But that is only part of the commentary.  The whole verse says, "The fool says in his heart, There is no God." When we read the whole Bible, and understand its meaning, we can say that every comment is infallible. 2) In the second case, we can say that the meaning of the Bible is clear.  The Scriptures were written so that ordinary people could understand them. God even spoke directly to children (Ephesians 6: 1-3). Some churches deny this, saying that only priests or scholars can understand the Bible.  (Of course, it is true that there are many things in the Bible that we do not understand. Even scholars have much to learn.)  (3) And finally, we can say that the Bible is enough (we don't need to know anything else with the Bible to know what we need to know). Many false religions deny this. The Roman Catholic Church says to know our tradition with the Bible. The Mormmons say that the Bible is accompanied by the Book of Mormon.  Modernists say that we need to know the "scientific discovery" along with the Bible.  But Jesus says the Bible is enough (Revelation 22: 18-20).  Whoever has the Bible, the Bible says, is “ready for every good work” (2 Timothy 3: 15-16). What do you say about the reinforcement convenience, believe, confidence and question-answer? We must always remember that the position of these ideals created by humans is very low from the Bible. We can not think they are equal to the Bible. We will use them as a convenient summary of the Bible teaching. But we must remember that we will not be satisfied by just trusting "Q & A". We always know that we know the verdict of the year by the Bible. Only our faith will be accepted and safe.
